Recorriendo el extremo sur de la Carretera Austral, Chile

Villa Mañihuales, Puerto Cisnes, Puyuhuapi

Sheltered by hills upholstered in vegetation, Puyuhuapi exists next to a wonderful sea fjord and its dwellers lead a simple and pleasant life keeping the traditions of the first settlers alive. Some of them were German and others came from Chiloé Island. Its tourist appeal resides in its surroundings. Queulat National Park features some very well designed trails that lead to the majestic Hanging Snowdrifts, one of the main local attractions

Puerto Cisnes is located in the northwestern portion of the Aisen Region, an area that includes numerous islands, fjords and channels. The major island is Magdalena Island, which contains the national park that bears its name. Much of the commune area is covered with a lush vegetation and is divided by the Moraleda Channel. The main mountain of the area is Melimoyu volcano.
